Annual Scientific Meetings
The AGITG meetings facilitate the development of multidisciplinary, co-operative clinical research amongst surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, statisticians, research scientists and allied health professionals with an interest in gastro-intestinal cancer.
The first AGITG Annual Scientific Meeting was held in Launceston, Tasmania in September 1999. The group has held an Annual Scientific Meeting every year since. The Annual Scientific Meeting incorporates multi-disciplinary sessions run concurrently with special interest workshops. Attendance at these meetings continues to grow.
