Clinical Trials
The AGITG is responsible for the co-ordination of clinical trials within Australia and New Zealand, and in more recent years, has expanded the number of international research groups with which it has collaborations. This has allowed the members of the group to contribute to trials of international importance.
The Clinical Trials listed in this section are divided into three categories:
Trials open to patient recruitment. These are trials currently in progress within Australia and New Zealand with some trials also recruiting in Singapore.
New trials in development. These trials are likely to begin patient recruitment shortly.
Trials in follow-up. Recruitment to these trials is closed. Patients enrolled into these studies continue to be monitored by participating centres.
